This is a great opportunity to join a small, innovative charity focused on maximising the policy impacts of shared mobility (car clubs, bike share and ride sharing) and ensuring the benefits are achieved for people and places in Scotland. Carplus Bikeplus (soon to be rebranded CoMoUK) plays a leading role in the UK’s transition to modern, integrated mobility through advocacy, research and development. This role will form a pivotal role in the Making Shared Transport Work for Scotland programme. This will raise awareness and show what shared mobility can achieve within 5 contexts (residential and place making, workplaces, community transport, tourism and renewables). This will be promoted alongside other ways of travelling that together make for resilient, lower impact, fairer mobility that enhance modern lifestyles and places, while reducing the unwelcome environmental, social and health costs of car dependent lifestyles.

Being a self-starter with sound marketing knowledge, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of the programme’s strategic objectives. You will have experience of developing and implementing marketing plans to effectively engage with new audiences, along with excellent written and communication skills including writing press articles, social media, and case studies. You will also have the ability to tailor guidance and messaging for different audiences and support other staff to disseminate this information through different routes. In this role, you will also need to build strong working partnerships with other organisations to ensure interventions are aligned. Previous experience of organising events is required, and you will also need to attend events to represent the organisation.
